Y10 Scientific Thinking Challenge

K Johnson - 26/04/2024 - Notice

Year 10, we are looking forward to welcoming you all back into school next week and hearing about your experiences of the world of work.

During your science lessons Period 2 on Wednesday 1 May you will be completing this year’s Scientific Thinking Challenge, and the link below will allow you to try some practice questions in preparation for this, should you wish to do so.

This online challenge is designed to test your ability to think like a research scientist, it is not related to any particular part of the GCSE curriculum but is instead created from six current areas of scientific research and development. It will present you with data and information that you will need to interpret and analyse – testing your scientific thinking skills.

You can follow this link and register entering QEGS as the participant code:

https://ondemand.questionmark.eu/delivery/session.php?customerid=610141&call=challengepractice2024.PIP
